Dean.
·
The
company can be selected from the school’s Database of Companies for OJT,
available with the Practicum Coordinator;
·
If
the company is not in the database, the student can seek recommendations from
the Chiang Kai Shek College Alumni Association, Inc. and submit such
recommendations for approval to the Practicum Coordinator and the Academic
Dean;
·
For
any other company targeted for OJT, the student needs to submit a proposal for
approval to the Program Coordinator and the Academic Dean, indicating the
background of the company and the expected OJT work he will be undertaking in
the said company.
2) Students having difficulty finding a company where to take up their Practicum may approach the Practicum Coordinator who will assist them in finding such.
3) An orientation shall be given by the Practicum Coordinator where he discusses general guidelines for Practicum with enrolled students for Practicum.
4) Upon finding a prospective company to work in, the student shall prepare two (2) copies of the letter of recommendation, which must be signed by the Practicum Coordinator, countersigned by the Academic Dean, and submitted to the company where Practicum is being applied for. 5) Once hired, the student should request for a formal letter of acceptance from the company, also to be submitted as part of his report.
6) If necessary, a contract or memorandum of agreement shall be signed between the student, the company, and the school for the Practicum experience.
